Being an early adopter seems risky. There not many deployments nor satisfied customers. You are in fact "guinea pig". But it can have many advantages too. Our customer have seen this as a main argument to choose our product. And if you this about it you will see it makes sense.
So what are advantages:
- You can influence roadmap of a product, so it is more suitable for your needs.
- You have direct contact with product manager and support team.
- You can get a special price.
- You don't have to pay for everything, because part of work is treated as product development, and not as services.
- You become referential customer, so you have to be satisfied.
